I just heard about this, I was told he had a heart attack in his office at the school just after retuning from a class trip to Florida. I understand there was a very nice article in the Courier Post also...
TERRANOVA, LEONARD A. JR.
Suddenly on March 18, 2008; of Marlton, NJ; age 65 years.
Devoted father of Leonard A. III and his wife Michelle Grimley, David M. and his wife Christine, and Matthew J. Terranova; Loving grandfather of Julia Grace and Olivia Nicole; Dear brother of Maryann Livolsi. Beloved nephew of Josephine and Anna Lamaina and Anthony and Marie Terranova. Also survived by his former wife Regina Terranova, and dear friend Charles E. Middleton, Jr., as well as many nephews, friends and co-workers.
Mr. Terranova was Vice Principal at Cherry Hill East High School for 35 years. Prior to that, he was a member of the administration and staff at Camden Catholic High School for 10 years. Mr. Terranova was a 1959 graduate of Camden Catholic High School and member of the Alumni Association, and a graduate of Villanova University, where he received his Master's Degree in Education. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation Monday from 5:30 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Church of St. Peter Celestine, 402 Kings Highway North in Cherry Hill, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, 367 East Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053, or to the Leonard A. Terranova Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Performing Arts, Cherry Hill High School East, 1750 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.
